ABOUT US
Our vision for Fresh Fur Dog Daycare and Grooming is to create a holistic and caring space where dog owners can feel safe and confident in the knowledge that we care for their dogs as if they were our own. Establishing our home based business in 2017, soon lead to a demand for a bigger space. Our shop front located at Alkimos Gateway Precinct Shopping Centre opened in 2020 and a broader need for the dog community was soon realised.
Seeing the need for a dog daycare in the upper Northern Suburbs, Fresh Fur established their second location aiming to provide high quality grooming services with the added benefit of creating a home away from home for our "Fresh Furries". Using a timetable format, normally utilised in child care, means that our clients will be socialised, engaged and rested in a structured caring environment.

BEC - FOUNDER
Our Fresh Fur Family Founder Bec is a lover of all animals. Leaving the corporate world to chase her dream job of working with dogs, she undertook a grooming traineeship at a veterinary clinic. Building her business from home, she has steadily built a reputation based on her quality grooming, exceptional dog handling skills and her true love and passion for dogs. The Fresh Fur Family has a loyal following in the Alkimos and surrounds community which we hope to extend from our brand new Butler location Fresh Fur Daycare & Grooming. You can catch Bec at Fresh Fur Dog Daycare and Grooming Tuesday to Friday.
DREW - OWNER/MANAGER
Drew shares his passion for dogs with Bec and their 3 children. A primary school teacher by trade, Andrew has always been hands-on at Fresh Fur Studio and made an easy and smooth transition into working with dogs. Andrew is located at the Amesbury premises Monday to Friday.
YAZ- DAYCARE SUPERVISOR
Yazmin has attained a Certificate 2 in Animal Studies. She is currently studying to be a groomer at Fresh Fur Dog Daycare and Grooming where she also works as an Animal Attendant. She loves caring and working with all animals but especially dogs. Yazmin loves coming into work every day and getting to know every dog and their different personalities. You can catch Yazmin Monday to Friday normally with her Pug, Mo.
JESS- GROOMER AND DAYCARE SUPERVISOR
Jess is a lover of all animals, especially dogs. She is currently training to be a dog groomer at Fresh Fur. She also works as a shift supervisor in the daycare. Jess has always had a passion for animals and grew up watching animal documentaries. Jess loves her job and all the pups that she works with. You can catch Jess Monday to Friday normally with her German Short Haired Pointer, Parker in tow.
